Been asked to update, will do. Think I stopped for awhile because I wasn't losing as much and I was getting off track. I didn't want to update my progress to say, well, I was failing. Due to some aggressive trash talking on both sides of the aisle, the bet is back on track, and this week, renewed effort is being put into losing. This has resulted in BS losing 6.2 lbs. thus far. She is pleased. LB is updating tonight. His reaction to BS's loss? "Holy shit." Be afraid, be very afraid. Also, get ready to purchase a tv. The totals as they stand:
LB: tbd
BS: 256.8, lost 35.2 lbs
BS is back on the induction phase of Atkins and had to go through the sugar withdrawals again. Not as bad as the first time, but still not fun. She is firmly committed to kicking LB's ass this week. She even bought a gym membership... that she has yet to use. Hey, it's been frickin' freezing here, lay off. She also found out that apparently her health insurance doesn't want her to lose weight. They will not pay for any sort of incentive unless you go to Curves. Um, what if you're a guy? Then apparently, no soup for you. And no soup for you anyway because apparently you're fat. Okay, maybe soup. LB is a work out machine and BS fears that he will look all skinny and runner-svelte when he gets down to 200, while she won't. BS has broad shoulders and isn't convinced that she could look "skinny" unless she got all anorexic and shit, which she isn't willing to do. Bitch likes food. Fitness goals were shared, they are as follows.
LB: Run a mile, bench press 150lbs, the ability to do pull ups
BS: Run a mile without wanting to die, after that, time the mile, after that, two miles, 35 sit ups in a minute (that may change), and benching something. She is not sure yet.
LB is also going to try a modified version of Atkins. BS is convinced that LB would feel better with less sugar in his system and so he's going to try it out. He's looking at a carb count of 75 a day combined with the fact that he works out like a mofo, 6 days a week. BS is back at roughly 20 a day and the pounds are melting off at that number. LB's diet will consist of beef and chicken and veggies, as well as other foods that BS still avoids. There are less than 550 days left of THE BET. To put this into perspective, the counter on the front page had over 700 days when we first began. The race is heating up, and players are saving up for incentives that each of them simultaneously does/does not want to purchase. Stay tuned...
